I Must Confess...

 I’m a beadaholic.  I have been collecting beads for probably close to 10 years.  I have “destashed” my bead supply many times only to replenish it again.  My focus has run the gamut from glass, gemstones, clay, bone, wood, ceramic, and metal.  I can browse catalogs, and the internet for hours.  Estate sales, flea markets, and thrift stores, are a paradise of possibilities.  My new addiction has a name and it is Lucite.  Lucite is a kind of high quality plastic or acrylic that resembles glass.  It possesses all of the same beauty and style as glass only much lighter...

My family and I have taken an annual vacation to the southern most outer banks, known as The Crystal Coast, for the past 20 years or so.  It has become like a second home to us.  Our girls have gone from sand covered beach babies to bikini clad beach "babes" during that time.
